About the Expert:

Guy Fritz, himself a former ATP Tour professional player, is no stranger to developing and mentoring junior champions: his son, Taylor won the US Open Junior tournament to earn the #1 year end ITF ranking in 2015 and in 2016 became the fastest player to reach the top 100 on the ATP Tour, at 19, having since reached as high as world no. 53.

Another one of his junior prodigies, CoCo Vandeweghe, also won the US Open Junior tournament and is now having a successful career on the WTA Tour, having this year made it to the Australian Open Semi-Finals, and is presently world no. 20.

Guy remains the only coach to develop a US Open Junior Champion in both the boys and the girls. In 2016 he was awarded Team USA Developmental Coach of the Year. In addition, with his expansive network of college coaches and knowledge of the college recruiting process, Guy has helped over 300 players secure tennis scholarships in the U.S., 90 per cent of which were at DI schools. Guy has also received international recognition, including the Mexicali, Mexico Excellence award (above).
